💡 Pro Tip — Restart your game
After changing DNS settings, restart your game so it picks up the new connection. This can make the fix take effect right away.
Close the game completely, then launch it again and try connecting.

⚙️ Advanced — Open Admin Command Prompt
If the quick fix didn’t work, we’ll run network reset commands. First, open an elevated Command Prompt.
Press Win + R, type cmd, then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter. Click Yes on the UAC prompt.
STEP 04
of 5
Run network reset commands
Copy and paste these commands one by one into the Admin Command Prompt. Run each, wait for it to finish, then run the next.
Run each command one by one
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
STEP 05

Restart your computer
After running the network reset commands, a full restart is required for the changes to take effect. Then try connecting again.
Save any open work, then restart your PC completely. Try connecting to your game again after boot.
You're all set!
You’ve completed the slow connection fix steps. Restart your PC if you haven’t yet, then try connecting again. If issues persist, check your firewall or contact your ISP.
