Auto-Harvest Guide — Sharp-Spark
SECTION 01of 9

Overview

The Sharp-Spark Auto-Harvest system is a sophisticated resource gathering automation tool that intelligently harvests materials while navigating paths and avoiding obstacles. It integrates with Path Navigation to create efficient gathering routes.

Key Capabilities

  • Automatic detection and harvesting of resources
  • Resource type and tier filtering
  • Path-based route automation
  • Intelligent obstacle avoidance
  • Combat interruption handling
  • Multi-harvest delay system

Auto-Harvest Features

Core Functionality

  • Automatic Detection: Scans for harvestable resources within range
  • Smart Prioritization: Chooses nearest valid resources
  • Progress Tracking: Monitors harvesting progress
  • Stuck Detection: Identifies when harvesting is blocked
  • Blacklist System: Temporarily ignores unreachable resources

Harvesting Process

  1. Scanning: Continuously scans for resources
  2. Validation: Checks resource type and tier filters
  3. Approach: Moves to resource if needed
  4. Harvest: Executes gathering action
  5. Completion: Detects when resource is depleted

Resource Types & Tiers

Supported Resource Types

  • Wood: Trees and lumber nodes
  • Stone: Rock formations
  • Ore: Metal deposits
  • Fiber: Plant materials
  • Hide: Animal resources

Tier System (T1–T8)

Each resource type has 8 tiers: T1 (basic) through T8 (exceptional). T1 = Rough Logs and basics; T2–T3 common; T4–T5 uncommon; T6–T7 rare; T8 exceptional.

Filtering

  • Individual toggle per resource type
  • Tier-specific filtering per type
  • "All Tiers" quick toggle

Path Navigation Integration

How It Works

  1. Path Following: Walks along recorded waypoints
  2. Auto-Pause: Stops when resources detected
  3. Harvest: Gathers the resource
  4. Auto-Resume: Continues path after harvesting

Smart Integration

  • Proximity detection — only pauses for reachable resources
  • Efficient routing to minimize backtracking
  • Mount management — auto-dismounts for harvesting
  • State recovery after interruptions

Recording Harvest Routes

Plan your route → Start recording → Walk the path through resource areas → Stop recording → Enable loop for continuous gathering.

Obstacle Avoidance

Stuck Detection

The system identifies stuck states via position monitoring, action counting, and time thresholds.

Avoidance Strategies

  • Simple: Lateral movement around obstacles
  • Complex paths: Multi-waypoint navigation
  • Wide detours: Large arc movements
  • Backoff: Retreat and re-approach

Obstacle Types Handled

  • Entities: other players, NPCs, mobs
  • Map objects: trees, rocks, buildings
  • Terrain: cliffs, water, steep slopes

Configuration & Settings

Basic Settings

  • Enable Auto-Harvest: Master toggle
  • Max Search Distance: 5–50 m
  • Multi-Harvest Delay: 0–5 s between actions

Resource Filters

Per type (Wood, Stone, Ore, Fiber, Hide): enable/disable and tier selection (T1–T8).

Advanced: Obstacle Avoidance

  • Enable obstacle avoidance, stuck detection time (3–10 s), position threshold, detection range, avoidance distance

Path Integration

  • Auto-path enable, resume delay, scan frequency

Usage Guide

Basic Harvesting

Enable Auto-Harvest, configure resource types and tier filters, then stand near resources to begin.

Creating Gathering Routes

  • Step 1 — Planning: Identify resource clusters, plan path, note mount points and dangerous areas.
  • Step 2 — Recording: Start at a safe spot, begin recording, walk through resource areas, complete circuit, stop.
  • Step 3 — Config: Enable resource types, set tier filters, enable auto-path and loop, set search distance.
  • Step 4 — Execution: Start playback, monitor first cycle, adjust as needed.

Optimal Settings by Scenario

  • Dense areas: Smaller search (10–15 m), shorter delay, all tiers, tight waypoints
  • Sparse areas: Larger search (20–30 m), auto-mount, selective tiers
  • Dangerous zones: Combat integration, reduce search, clear escape routes
  • Mixed gathering: All types, balanced tiers, medium distance
SECTION 08of 9

Tips & Strategies

Route Optimization

  • Circular routes for continuous gathering; focus on high-density areas; balance travel vs yield; include safe zones.

Tier Selection

  • Progression-based (match your level), market-focused (high-value), bulk (lower tiers), or selective (specific materials).

Performance & Safety

  • Lower search distance in crowded areas; increase delays if stuttering; disable unwanted tiers.
  • Keep gear repaired, know retreat paths, watch for competition, monitor inventory.

Integration

Combat: auto-defend, pause harvest, resume after threats. Mount: auto-dismount/remount. Inventory: monitor weight and storage.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Not Finding Resources

Check types enabled, tier filters, search distance; move closer to nodes.

Stuck on Obstacles

Enable obstacle avoidance, increase avoidance distance, re-record paths, check blacklist.

Harvesting Interrupted / Path Not Resuming

Check combat, mount state, other players; verify tools, auto-path, resume delay.

Advanced

  • Blacklist: Auto-clears after 60 s; clear manually if needed.
  • Performance: Reduce scan frequency, smart filtering, refine paths.
  • Debugging: Use visual indicators, stats, logs, state monitoring.
💡 Best practices: start with small routes, test manually, refine and document. Plan inventory, tool durability, weight, and banking runs.
